4th Blog Post
Blogging is a great way to get feedback on ideas, thoughts and feelings. We have been blogging about our research question and our annotated bib. so far it has been a way to get out ideas and our research written down so that we can think about it and so that we can get feedback from others. when you write something down, it has a different significance and meaning then it does when it is in your head. it helps you to see what you have and what you still lacking. what is good and what still needs work. it can also get the juices flowing and your brain working overtime. i never knew i would be this interested in this topic that i chose, but really it affects a lot of us. who has time to cook a meal nowadays? we all cook and eat frozen dinners. its something that affects everyone of us and is personal for us all. the blogging helps me see this. Getting feedback from people could really help as well, gettting feedback on my ideas. I look at other peoples topics and try to relate it to mine and see how i can help my topic be better and help them make theirs better. this is how we all write. we look at a topic, we look at whats going on about that topic, we talk about that topic, and we get feedback on that topic from other people. just think about it. when you are posting on facebook. "I want to get an Ipad" we are going to talk about it; oh yes those things are great, i have one myself, you are going to love it. we do research on the topic; find out where we can get one, find out what it does, find the cheapest one. and then we get feedback; friends help you learn how to work it and how to do certain things on it. the writing process isnt just for writing, its for everyday life. just think about that the next time you are texting your friends, emailing your family, posting on facebook, blogging, or anything.

3rd blog post
Since my topic is frozen dinners, my audience is going to be the people who eat them, especially the ones who eat the "Healthy" frozen foods. This includes loads of people. Every body eats frozen dinners right? I mean we all have those days when we are in a hurry and we just dont have time to fix a big dinner and we dont want fast food. That is why this topic is timely, everyone eats frozen dinners and there are so many of them. Right off the top of my head i can think of several frozen dinner companies: Swanson, stouffers, healthy choice, Eatsmart, etc. Even i eat frozen foods all the time, and my mom and sister eat the "healthy" frozen dinners. That is my connection to the topic. I want to know what i am eating and if i should continue eating them or not. These meals may not be healthy for me, and if they are completly bad for me then i will stop eating them. there have been some cases where people have actualy discovered some healthy and tasty frozen dinners. Unfortunatly they were ones that i dont really like. Other than that, finding research on this topic is getting kind of tough. the only examples i have found are periodicals. If my resource is in a newspaper or on the news then it was years ago. The resources i am finding are more one sided.

2nd blog post
The most interesting source I have found so far is an article from Health source-consumer edition. its called helthy frozen meals. its by Denise Foley with Marston St. John. It talks about how the frozen dimmer meals that we all eat, may not be that healthy for us. over the years companies have tried to make some of these meals healther for consumers. the article gives a short list of the most healthiest frozen meals.
My topic has changed slightly. My original topic was about frozen Health meals, now my topic includes all frozen dinners and meals. its a wider topic so i have more to work with. so far i have not faced any problems with my topic. the maint thing i could say would be to choose a topic that has a lot of discussion about. my topic for instance has tons of discussion, it has been in magazines, news papers, television and there has been severa studies about my topic as well.

1st blog post for English Class
My inguiry question is going to be "Is the frozen health foods really that healthy for you?" I chose this question because there are a lot of people out there who eat healthy choice, smart choice, etc. to lose weight. Are these so called "healthy" meals really healthy for you if they are the frozen kind? I have googled my topic and have come up with some interesting results. It turns out that a lot of these healthy meals are not really so healthy for you after all. All of them are high in sodium, dont have enough vegetables, have to few calories and it also depends on the food itself. these foods were prepared and then imediatly frozen, and they wont ever get freezer burn. also if you prepare these meals using the microwave, then there are some more health issues. there are some health foods that are good for you, given that you prepare it in the oven and not the microwave.
